    Resolved Issues
    Manure spreading tracking & reporting
Previous firmware versions lacked the key inputs required for manure spreading operations to track application rates and units of measure.
The new firmware release allows for adding an application rate during setup and for tracking and printing application data in the Summary Report.
    • Boundary recording
In previous firmware versions, “boundary recording” could be accomplished only with the headland pattern, which is incompatible with certain field patterns.
The new firmware release provides the ability for boundaries to be recorded with any field pattern type. In addition, field boundaries can be used to run acre counts or to set a sprayer shutoff location.
    • SwathFinder assistance
In previous firmware versions, when using the AB field pattern the lack of visual guidance during a vehicle turn increased the difficulty to clearly locate the next swath.
The new firmware release provides a turn guidance path in AB field pattern types.
    • Headland/Infill toggle
In previous firmware versions, the headland pattern type used automated switching between the headland swath(s) and inner AB line (infill) swaths. While performing a turn at the end of a row, this auto-toggle could potentially cause confusion by guiding to an incorrect swath.
The new firmware release provides the ability to manually toggle between the headland and the infill AB swath, eliminating the potential for an undesired swath change.
    • FreeForm status icons
Previous firmware versions did not clearly identify the current guidance status to the operator when operating a FreeForm™ pattern type. This made it difficult to identify which mode FreeForm is operating in, potentially causing unintended downtime through pattern duplication.
The new firmware release adds reference icons on the main map screen to allow operators to instantly identify swath type (FreeForm or AB line) and recording status (recording on or off).
    • Summary Report improvements
Previous firmware versions did not provide speed and mapped feature maps in the Summary Report, limiting the ability for field cleanup or speed tolerance reviews.
The new firmware release includes summary reports that show mapped features and travel speeds. In addition, the user can now choose which maps appear in the summary report for greater specificity.
    Other Miscellaneous Issues
    • Port conflict warning
Previous firmware versions did not identify the port usage and could potentially cause conflict during system setup activities.
The new firmware release adds a notification for potential port conflicts.
Note: The port conflict warning only appears if you are using the EZ-Guide 500 lightbar guidance system firmware version 5.00.
    • 10 Hz GPS rate
In previous firmware versions, the GPS receiver operated at 5 Hz, which limited connectivity to third-party hardware.
The new firmware release increases the GPS rate to 10 Hz to allow increased product
interoperability. You can also output NMEA messages at rates up to 10 Hz.
    • File-241050
    • EZ-Steer wizard improvements
Previous firmware versions did not provide the ability to make adjustments to important steering performance adjustments during first-time setup of the EZ-Steer® assisted steering system.
The new firmware version adds override sensitivity & approach aggressiveness to the calibration wizard to increase efficiency from initial use onwards.
